		<description>It&#039;s a pity Mick Moore didn&#039;t see (?) the APPP synthesis report about getting practically useful re: governance. There&#039;s a really good 4-page briefing at http://www.institutions-africa.org/filestream/20121024-appp-policy-brief-09-development-as-a-collective-action-problem.  The APPP team has gone quite a bit further than the &#039;working with the grain&#039; idea. And as for North &amp; al, agreed that the idea of evolution may not be useful, but the &#039;analytic grid&#039; that they propose to understand what type of state-society set-up is a partiular country, is useful.</description>
