Oxfam has been working in Ethiopia for over 30 years, supporting communities with long-term development and responding to humanitarian crises. One of Africa’s largest nations, Ethiopia is also one of its poorest and faces frequent shocks such as drought. Working in partnership with others, we aim to address the underlying causes of poverty and help build an equitable Ethiopia where people, particularly women and girls, are empowered to reach their full potential and become resilient to shocks and crises.
