Taking Southeast Asia to the Paris climate talks

Make way for our new campaign project under the Grow campaign, #TuktukToParis !

At the end of the year, world leaders will meet in Paris to make decisions about how to deal with climate change. One of these decisions is whether they will commit to adaptation funds or money that will help developing nations to adapt to climate change from the year 2020, onwards- which they’re calling the adaptation goal.

Through the #TuktukToParis petition campaign, you can ask ASEAN leaders to push for the adaptation goal at the Paris talks in December.  Sign our petition here: http://bit.ly/TuktukToParis

The adaptation goal is important because it will arm developing countries with early warning systems so poor communities can evacuate before a storm surge strikes. Adaptation funds will support sustainable agriculture – practices which produce food without emitting huge carbon emissions and damaging the planet – across Asia. The benefits that adaptation funds can bring are endless.

It’s time to jump on board the #TuktukToParis and add your call for ASEAN leaders to fight for funds action at the climate talks in Paris this December.
